Alexander McQueen is one of my favorite designers. He used his clothes as a form or art. Most of you will be familiar with his work when thinking of Lady Gaga's tribute to him at the 2010 MTV VMAs (seen below).
McQueen hung himself in his closet last year and his company has henceforth been taken over by Sarah Burton who designed the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's , wedding dress (seen below).
- He was recently honored at the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards and his still well-known throughout the world.
